Indonesia holds the third-worst sanitation title in the world according to WHO (World Health Organization). Poor sanitation causes various infectious diseases such as diarrhea, dysentery, hookworm, hepatitis A and E, skin diseases, etc. this causes many babies to grow with fewer nutrients which causes death. Pureheart contributed to providing improved sanitation to rural communities in accordance with the sustainable development goals by the UN.
